Margaret and Clive welcome you to the Ravenstone House B&B Website. A four star B and B offering en-suite facilities and evening meals by arrangement.



Thank you for visiting our website, a warm welcome awaits you at Ravenstone House B and B, located in an area known as the Machars, SW Scotland. We are open from 1st May to 31st October but enquiries can be made at any time.

We are about 4miles (6.4km) from Whithorn and 4.5miles (7.2km) from Port William set amidst rolling pastures - an ideal location to relax and unwind.


Bedroom, king size bed


We offer an upstairs en-suite room with a king size bed. The room has a digital TV, DVD player and radio as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Wifi facilities are available. There is full central heating.





Bath Shower


The bathroom contains both a shower and a bath.





Breakfast


Breakfast and evening meals are served in the conservatory which has views over the garden.


A full Scottish breakfast is offered along with other choices.

Evening meals and packed lunches can be provided with prior notice.



We operate an open house policy whereby you have access to your room all of the day and are welcome to use the conservatory and the garden which extends to about one third of an acre and includes our new wildlife pond.

The garden has lawns, borders and a vegetable plot. During the summer and winter we have many birds come to visit us and the photograph shows just a few. Can you name them? (see end of page)

There is private off-road parking. Sorry, no pets.

This area of south west Scotland has something for everyone. If it is peace and tranquility you seek there are plenty of quiet unspoilt beaches and countryside to explore. For those who want activities walking, cycling, fishing, birdwatching and golfing are near at hand. For details click on the menu.
